Queens Homeschooling Cyber Monday Sale

Queens Homeschooling is having a HUGE Cyber Monday sale today! In fact, it is the biggest sale they have ever had to date. All e-books are 30% off! And they are already such great prices, so you can get lots of good, quality materials for dirt cheap.

I love this company. I have used their materials in our home school, and also as character building for my children. Last Christmas I got my teenage daughter a character training study about Modesty that we worked on together. I wasn’t raised a Christian, so much of this stuff was new to me and very valuable. And it was a great time for my daughter and I to spend together. They also have studies on Purity, Courtship, and Manners.

My son and my husband really enjoy the Little Leaders books. They have recently read the Guarding My Eyes book for young boys together. It was enjoyable and easy to understand, and I appreciate the fact that it is building up my little man to be a great husband and father one day. They also have Little Ladies books with topics such as modesty and purity but aimed at a younger audience than the study that my older daughter and I did.

There are also many home school resources, in the Charlotte Mason style of education, which I love. You can find just about any topic here. I haven’t used the science or history yet, but the Discovering Nature and Science series looks very thorough for young children, and the Living History Readers look like something we could get very interested in. I’m planning on trying them out during this sale! Other topics include Geography, Math, Nature Study, Copywork, and Natural Health. I love the fact that everything is from a Christian and creation worldview.

Click the banner below to be taken the sale page. Check it out, look around. Even if you don’t home school, I’m sure there is something you can use with your family. I wouldn’t let this great sale go by if I were you!

Crossroads of Character

Crossroads of Character

This week I am giving away this great resource for training character into your young children. This book, Crossroads of Character,  will show children how to make wise choices when presented with real life situations. Each character trait is accompanied by a brief description, a Bible verse, and a short story of young children displaying the trait. The pictures are super cute and are of the author’s family.

My preschool aged children have loved hearing the stories from this book and seeing pictures of children their age. In my opinion, this is a great resource to have in any home where you are trying to instill godly character traits in your children.

The character traits covered in this book are:

  • Obedience
  • Patience
  • Honesty
  • Gratefulness
  • Respectfulness
  • Responsibility
  • Initiative
  • Diligence
  • Kindness
  • Self-Control
  • Contentment
  • Deference (Sharing)

I am happy to be able to give one lucky reader a copy of this book. I hope it can be as much of a blessing to your family as it has been to mine!
