May Printable Bible Verses

This month has flown by so far. I know I am late in getting May’s Bible verses up, but I hope that you will still take the time to print them out and put them up around your house. I love seeing scripture in my house, and I find that hanging these verses in places that I look frequently helps me to memorize them without too much effort on my part. I simply read them each time I see them, and before I know it, they are in my heart.

Here are the 4 verses I will be memorizing this month:

This verse is a good reminder that all our efforts are in vain if we don’t have the Lord in our lives and in our homes.

This verse is specifically for me this month! I have found myself nagging and being negative lately, and I need to remember that the best way to get results is with positive feedback and praise, not the opposite. This can go for husbands and children. I know my teenager does her chores better and more joyfully when I compliment how great she is doing instead of pointing out what she did wrong. Let’s face it ladies, this can even be applied to us. I know I want to be more helpful to my husband when he is praising me as opposed to ordering me around!

If you have been following along, you know I am memorizing all the verses about the Proverbs 31 woman this year. I like this verse. I feel like it applies to me in certain areas, but I know I can improve upon other areas in my life (ahem-laundry, lol). I also want to instill in my children the feeling of accomplishment you get from a job well done. I think that is what this verse is talking about–she takes pride in her work and isn’t sloppy, even if it takes a little longer.

Another verse that is speaking directly to me this month. I am the queen of starting things! I have crochet projects tucked away that I started, sewing projects that I started, journals that I started, baby books that I started…and while starting something is great, finishing it is the real accomplishment. I need to post this one up right over my bathroom mirror so I see it every morning when I wake up.

Are you following along and memorizing any of these verses with me, or are you memorizing any different ones? I’d love to hear about them in the comments.

I have memorized Proverbs 31:10-31 in the past. I love those verses and often refer to them. You are an encouragement with keeping up with these. I find it hard to stick to anything these days, too!!

Visiting from Blogging Elite! I really like that Ecclesiastics verse, definitely something I can learn from. I also have a bad habit of not quite finishing craft/scrapbooking projects.
