I can’t believe it is March already, can you? This year is just flying by!
Are you following along and memorizing verses with me? If so, here are the bible verses I will be memorizing for March. If not, now is a great time to jump in. If you want to check out the bible verses I already memorized this year, here are January’s and here are February’s.
It is my goal this year to memorize all the verses pertaining to the Proverbs 31 woman and to practice her traits in my everyday life. This is a big one for me, because I have always been more of a night owl than an early bird, but I am finding that if I get up and start my day before my family, I am in such a better mood and tend to get more accomplished. Especially now with blogging and my essential oils business, I have a lot of tasks that I need to accomplish without distraction. But with a new baby, it is sometimes hard for me to pull myself out of bed in the morning, so I definitely need more work in this area. Getting up early will be my focus this month.
I am always telling my children-“If you are going to do something, make sure you do it to the best of your ability.” I think this is great advice for anyone of any age. Especially myself. It is so easy to just do a job quickly to get it over with and not put the effort into it to make it the best that you can. This can apply to cleaning, homeschooling, prayer and Bible reading, anything that you find yourself doing. We only have one life. How sad it would be to get to the end of it and realize we could have done things better if only we had put in a little more effort.
“And above all, you must control your temper!”– Even the characters of Beauty and the Beast knew what they were talking about when they were getting the Beast ready to have dinner with Belle. I need this reminder daily, as I struggle with my temper and feeling overwhelmed, especially when dealing with my family.
I pray daily for wisdom, and this verse perfectly sums up how to act wisely. We need to be peaceable and gentle, not harsh and stubborn, and definitely not hypocritical. Now I would be the first to tell you that I am at times a hypocrite, as all people are, because I’m not perfect. But these are good traits to strive for.

Are you memorizing these verses or any this month? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
