February Printable Bible Verses

February Bible Verse Printables

Happy February everyone! This month is decidedly my favorite, since it is the month of love, and also my birthday.

Did anyone memorize any verses in January? If you would like to see the verses I memorized and maybe print them out, you can click here to be taken to my January post. One of my goals this year is to memorize 4 verses each month. I would love for you to join along with me.

The first verse I chose to memorize in February is actually a chapter. Since February is the shortest month in the year, I thought it would be appropriate to memorize the shortest chapter in the Bible-Psalm 117.

Psalm 117- The shortest chapter

If you’ve been following along since the January verses, you know that I also want to memorize all the verses about the Proverbs 31 woman this year and strive to me more like her in my daily life. This month I am memorizing verses 13 and 14. These verses tell me that the Proverbs 31 woman was creative, making things for her family by hand. She was also creative when buying necessities for her household. I am sure she sought out the best deals so as not to waste her families finances. There are definitely seasons of my life when I feel more creative and enjoy working with my hands, but I would like to make it more of a regular hobby, especially since my children love when I crochet and make them things. As for bringing our food from afar, most of us live within minutes of a variety of stores, so I think the modern equivalent of this would be searching out deals and staying within budget. This is something I am usually pretty good at, but can definitely improve upon.

Proverbs 31:13-14

The next verse, Psalm 119:165, is a great reminder to everyone. I am hanging this one somewhere in my kitchen so I can look at it everyday and remember not to be easily offended.

Psalm 119:165

This last verse I chose from Song of Solomon, the love chapter in the Bible. I originally chose this specific verse because it sounds so poetic, but as I was making up the printable God gave me a deeper understanding of it. A part of the verse says, “…for love is strong as death.” God’s love for us is as strong as death. He sent His only Son to die for our sins so that we could one day live in Heaven with Him. That is a love beyond comprehension. God’s love is so much stronger than any love we could ever feel. I don’t know of anyone who would willingly send their son, their only son, to die for someone else. I know I wouldn’t. Yet God did just that. His love is amazing and never ending. If you don’t know the love of God, or don’t know for sure if you are going to Heaven, please read this. You never know if today might be your last.

Song of Solomon 8:6

I hope you all have a great month! I’d love to hear if you are memorizing these verses, or any other ones.

I’d also love to connect with you on Facebook or through my weekly newsletter.

I’ve never read the entire bible. I wasn’t really raised as a specific religion, but rather just to be a good person. Of course, that can have many interpretations. I’ve had my own bible since 1999, when I received the Mom’s Devotional Bible at the baby shower for my son. I like it because it has an index of where to direct you when certain feelings or certain events occur.

Recently, I realized I really wanted to focus on reading the whole bible. My Mom’s Devotional Bible has a 1-year reading plan, but I never completed it.

I’ve since find the YouVersion Bible App for my Android and I love it. There are several different plans, not just to read the bible in a year, plus I’m able to read it in different versions. I usually read 3 versions of each verse. It helps me preserve the text as it’s meant to be read, as well as in more common and contemporary versions. I highly recommend the app to anyone!

My point is, I thank you for sharing your faith with the world. Memorizing bible verses is not the stage I’m at, but I hope to be soon! Keep your encouragement coming!

Thank you so much for your encouraging words! I haven’t read every single book of the Bible either…right now I am reading it through with a year plan, although it has so far taken me 13 months and I’m not done yet. The important part is that you are reading it and taking the time to understand, like you are 🙂
I’ve had that app before and liked it. Right now I have an iPhone, and haven’t downloaded a Bible app yet but I need to.
As for memorizing, what works best for me is to just place verses in places around my house that I look at alot…like the white board behind my computer, my dresser mirror, etc. and as I read them repeatedly, they just get stuck in my brain. It’s a great, no stress way to memorize! And it is a good encouraging reminder of God’s love throughout my day.

It does make it so much easier, doesn’t it? I used to write them on index cards, but making them like this is prettier 🙂 And I can display them all over the house.

It does make it so much easier to have them to look at, doesn’t it? I used to write my verses on memory cards, but this way they are prettier to put up around the house.

I am so very grateful for His forgiving love and for His Word that tells us of this beautiful love. The verse in the Song of Solomon … I used it on my blog for this day to tell my dear husband of the love I have for him.
