One of the joys of homeschooling is being able to jump in the car at a moment’s notice and take an adventure! That is exactly what we did this week. I needed a reset, and the kids definitely needed a change of pace. We have been cooped up inside most of the winter. Although it has been a mild season, it has still been rainy, windy, and cold most days. Now that the sun is finally starting to come out, we needed to get out!
This is proof that I have chilled out a lot as a mom. If my children would have tried to climb on all these rocks a couple years ago, I would have had a mini heart attack and been right next to them to catch them in case they fell. Now I just go over to shoot a few good pictures and then go back to looking at the ocean.

This gull kept creeping closer to us. He probably knew he was camouflaged and thought we couldn’t see him.
I am so glad we were able to go and have a good time. Have you went on any adventures lately?
All pictures were taken by myself or my teenage daughter, at Schoolhouse Beach in Bodega Bay, California.
